Who we are
Old Brittonic Limited ("we", "us") is the controller of personal data collected through oldbrittonic.com. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 17111037, with our registered office at 3rd Floor, 86-90 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NE. What we collect
When you send a trade enquiry we collect the details you give us: your name, role, venue, type of venue, town and postcode, email address, telephone number if provided, and any message. When you write to us by email we hold your email and its contents.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not run analytics on this site. When you confirm your age, a small record is kept in your own browser (local storage) so that you are not asked again. It never leaves your device.
How we use it and why
- To reply to your enquiry, send a sample you request and discuss supply. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to trade enquiries, and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
- To keep business records and meet our legal obligations, including those of an approved alcohol wholesaler. Our lawful basis is legal obligation.
We do not sell your data and we do not use it for marketing unless you ask us to keep you informed.
Who we share it with
- Web3Forms, which relays enquiries from our website form to our email.
- Vercel, which hosts this website.
- Google, which provides our email.
- Our brewing and delivery partners, only where needed to send a sample or fulfil an order.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or adequacy regulations.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for up to 24 months from our last contact, unless you become a customer, in which case we keep records for as long as the law requires (normally six years).
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or erase your personal data, to object to or restrict its use, and to data portability. To use any of these rights, write to info@oldbrittonic.com. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Age
This site is intended only for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
